POKÉMON GO: ZORUA HALLOWEEN

Niantic tasked us with coming up with a clever way to introduce a fan favorite character into the game during Halloween. During Pokèmon GO’s Season of Light, we created a series of creepy “found footage” videos showing buddy Pokèmon being mysteriously duplicated in swarms.
We teased the footage on Pokèmon GO's social channels before revealing the mastermind behind these strange occurrences: the mischievous, prank-loving Pokèmon Zorua, who was finally making their debut in the game. Knowing how vigilant their fanbase is on social media, we made sure to leave all sorts of hidden clues, red herrings and easter eggs to keep them guessing until the final reveal video.
